I use UVB bulbs for my chams....

What are your guys views on whether to use 5.0 or 10.0?
whether to use UVA or not?
whether to use a UVA/UVB bulb?

what are your guys views?

5.0 for beginners and babies
10.0 for adults or for screened lids

UVA is more for color than health

You have to have a uva bulb cause you need a heat source for digestion and the uva's produce heat and give off light.It is where your chameleon will bask to warm up and digest his food. The UVB bulbs do not produce heat. Some people use the combo uva/uvb bulbs. I believe Powersun is one them.
