so is it enough no need for heat lamp especial winter is coming?!!
I'm already addicted :), and its weird here, feel like I'm from Mars no one keep reptiles here, bet there is few few more in Egypt, i love Chameleons so much they are beautiful creatures, & I'm glad to be the one who start this here, pple should know about this sweet reptiles

What are the temps like there right now and the coming months?
If not to hot, outside sunning would be good if possible.....
 
As I said in my last post...IF YOU NEED HEAT....you can use the household incandescent light in the domed hood. It depends on the temperature where you are keeping the chameleon. It should be in the low to mid 80's F in the basking area for both males and females in the C. chamaeleon species and for male veileds..but female veileds and hatchlings of either species I keep in the low 80'sF.

The Repti-sun 5.0 should be the long linear tube light and will require a long hood/fixture for it...and it should have no glass or plastic between the light and the chameleon.
