You only need a UVB light and a heat source, typically a standard light bulb. You won't need one of the ceramic heating elements for a chameleon.

Reptisun 5.0 is the most commonly used UVB light for chameleons, I would suggest using that along with a standard light bulb for heat.

Reptisun 5.0 is the best or Reptiglo 5.0 linear tube lights. That is what most of us use. You don't need a red, blue or any special type of bulb for basking(heat). Just an ordinary white housebulb will do for your UVA. Try about a 60 watt or so. My adult panther basks at around 88-90 degrees or so.

I am using a 60w and only getting 84 degrees in my enclosure, strange.
