i have just changed my lighting sysytem from a coil light, to a repti glo strip light
2x5.0 uvb
(30% uva & 5% uvb)

the viv now looks more tropica & not as bright as with the coil light

i really hope i've done the right thing???????????

well im no expert on supplies, but i do know that a strip is better than a coil, just wait for some others to chime in

i hope you didnt spend much money because you did it all wrong.

First off coils are harmfull to their eyes and should never be used period.

Second the liner tubes are good but you picked the wrong one, that brand is not good for lizards at all. Go with the repti sun 5.0 liner long tube, ok.

If you got a Reptigo 5.0 linear tube flourescent you are fine and every 6 months is perfect.
