LIGHTING (uva/uvb)

Hi i am just wondering if anyone can advise me on whether you can buy the strip bulbs which both emit uva & uvb rays at the same time if so what are these bulbs called and roughly how much they could cost, my light is 24"

at the moment i have a repti-glo5.0 and an ordinary household bulb which i dont think is correct but was told it would be ok for house bulb, doesnt seem right to me and dont really know what i need as there is so many different varieties of lighting its mind boggling
please help as im confused as to what lighting i should actually have installed in my viv

Sounds like your lighting is perfect. You always want a UVB flourescent linear tube-like the Reptiglo or Zoomed Reptisun 5.0, and a regular household bulb is perfect for basking heat. UVB tubes do need to be replaced about every 6 months.

You mean for the cham? I would not want to go much past 5 days without a UVB light. I imagine it is far too cold for natural sunlight there.
