I am pretty sure you have a female. Also you can use the 6500K. It is a plant grow light and if you have any live plants it will help them grow and will not harm your chameleon. edit:I am on the fence about the sex. Some pics I think male and other female! leaning more toward female though! Someone help me!!!

Can i use the 6500k bulb instead of the reptisun ? Yea i have no clue, i would like some more opinions too

No because the 6500K does not provide UVB. You have to have the Reptisun, a seperate basking bulb for heat and you can use the 6500K to brighten up the cage and for your plants. Ypu can use a regular housebulb for the basking light. I keep looking back and I still think female. Males have a thing called a hemipenal bulge. I don't really see that. It it hard to sex at a young age by color alone. As they get older yes their colors will distinguish them. I would love for someone else to give an opinion!. how old is your cham and where did you buy it?

Do you know if i can use the reptisun 10.0?? I got it from a pet shop and they said male but i dont think so and they said about 3 months

Most of the time, pet stores do not know what they are talking about. If you got it from a breeder, then I would say yes, believe what you were told. Once in great while they make a mistake too! There has been great debate on here about using the 10.0 and the 5.0. There are plenty of people on here who use the 10.0's. I personally use the 5.0's. The 10.0 might be a little too strong for a baby. You could try and see. If you notice your cham start squinting, or rubbing its eyes on the branches, then I would switch it out. Also closiing its eyes is no good either. As a matter of fact, in case you did not know chameleons NEVER sleep during the day so if you have one with its eyes closed, then you have a problem. Usually this is due to illness but can be something as simple as incorrect lighting. BTW the first pic you posted, I say 100% female!!

What inch bulb do you use mine is only 18" that's y i asked if i can get a diff bulb for my 36" fixture

I have a 30 inch fixture and I use a 24 inch bulb. you have to measure where the bulb will fit in and see what size it takes.
