Lighting question for a free range set up

I have a veiled Cham who doesn't seem to like staying in his cage so I'm looking into setting up a "free range" area, I'm thinking of setting up some rope or vines from his cage across my living room so he can get some exercise. Would it be ok to let him roam around without setting up u.v lights or heat lamps? It would Def only be a couple hours on weekends when I'm home.im also concerned of it having a negative impact on him being caged while I'm gone at work during the week. Any advise?

As long as he's safe from other pets and children I'm sure he would love out of the cage time. If it's just for a few hours he wouldn't have to have lights. Just remember they do love to roam.
