Hi im getting a 2 month old male veiled chameleon and I have a question about my setup.
I have a 16" 16" 30" screen cage, I have plants vines and climbing decor. My many question is can he have TO much UVB because i have a T8 fluorecent bulb(the fish light like one),
A 5.0 zoomed reptisun mini size compact fluorescent 13watts, and I need to get a new basking bulb so any bulbs i can use. If you need a better visual i made a video of my setup

That linier tube type is all you need because it distributes the UVB much better. As for the basking light just use a 75 watt regular incandescent house bulb. I would also get more foliage, and vines. I doubt that he will drink from that water bowl he will probably just poop in it. So it's ok to have it to catch the water, but I would keep it cleaned out as much as possible.

Brownie beat me to it as for UVB. As for a basking bulb, you can use a regular 60- 80 W household bulb to reach your desired temp. You might want to install an in-line dimmer switch on your heat lamp cord to adjust the temp, or your dome might have one already. As you are getting a 2 mo. old, be cognizant of the heat gradient and get yourself a temp. gun to quickly and accurately check out he temp in all areas of your cage and a digital hygrometer to check humidity. The 16x16x30 should work for now as you reported that he's 60-70 days old. You will need a 24"x24" x48" cage by 180 days or so (6 mo). Check out the links provided and hopefully one of the senior members will chime in soon. They're really good about pointing you/ us in the right direction.

Thank you and how much plants do i need to add. I am already getting a new vine(the black one) and just for my knowledge what are the difference between a veiled and a Ambilobe Panther Chameleon

A bunch they love places to hide, and walk. A panther is a lot more expensive than a veiled, however the colors on the male are out of this world. As far as their care goes it's about the same for both.
