lighting for a larger enclosure

Elvis is 6 months old and I thought it was time to start is bigger enclosure. I have a large keeper cage from Dragonstrand on its way. I've heard other members complain about the shipping costs for Dragonstrand which are staggering. I urge anyone interested to contact Bill Strand personally. He worked hard to bundle my packages and got the shipping down 45%. He will work hard to get you your items for the lowest possible amount.
Anyway, back on topic. I have a zoomed 12 inch and the basking light I can't remember but it's a small dome. Before I got out and purchase another zoomed, what do guys use and if you had a chance to do it over would you use something else? Elvis does get a few hours of outdoor time everyday. I'm not sure about winter yet but I do live in Florida so I would think he could go out 5 out of 7 days.

WAAAAy too little information.

If the sucker is like 5-6ft high id go with a 42" arcadia 12%+ grow light. On the other hand that would be nuts if the cages was only 3ft tall but very long. if that was the case you could just run zoomed t8's across the front.

I agree with Addicks. The Arcadia lights are fantastic. Besides a better UVB that reaches much deeper down in the cage than a ZooMed and produces much stronger UVB, the plant bulbs keep you plants happy and the other two lights light your cage. There is nothing more depressing than a dark chameleon cage. I only use basking bulbs on of my veileds cages in the winter--the quad fixtures put out a fair amount of heat.
