Lighting Cycles

Hello!
I keep Jackson's they are WC and have been living captive for over 6 months my way of thinking with lights and timers has always been to mimic the seasons, I change the settings on the timers as needed. Figure make the light cycle as natural as possible. This time of year my lights are shutting down shortly after 8pm. However I notice that all my Chams. around 6:30 pm will get into their sleep positions, Today I had the idea to look up sunset time in Kenya and here is the data :
Jun 18, 2012 sunrise 6:32 AM sunset 6:35 PM
I know believe that regardless of what time I set the lights to go on or off they are on their internal clocks. Will they adapt over time ? Or should I mimic their locale time , opinions please, and thanks.

I would adjust it by them, they know best. If they are settling at a particular time, set it for half an hour to an hour after that, I think most chameleons seem to settle an hour or so before actual bedtime. I do this for my dragon, who is my only daytime reptile at the moment, and he seems happy.

My chameleons get a sense of when the light is gonna turn off. Their light goes of at 8pm and they are usually in their sleeping spots by 7pm. It's fine if they so that. Many peoples chameleons do that.
