Light bulbs

I use a regular incandescent bulb after I read on a website that they were alright to use and just as efficient as a heat bulb. Are they alright to use as a heat source?

yes, a regular white housebulb is fine to use as a basking light. No need to spend a bunch of money on the expensive basking bulbs.

Yep they work just as good as the more expensive ones. I used a 75 watt for my panther while it was cooler out and bumping it down to a 60 watt now that it's hot outside
