Greetings all!
I may have been a member here, years ago, but don't recall. About 10 years ago, I was working diligently on a project to breed melleri and I also worked with CBB parsonii, panthers, dermensis, meru jacksons, and a few others. I did breed my melleri and passed additional animals along to Suzanne, a member here. Suzanne went on to hatch additional melleri, from copulations that occurred under my care.
Life changes and losing my beloved female melleri caused me to pause, change directions, and regroup. I retired from the herp world, began growing and exhibiting plants, and worked on creating a stable life.
Now I'm back!
This week, I'm expecting a pair of orange eyed parsonii and I'll be getting 2 pair of o'shaugnessi, near the beginning of May. I'm thrilled to get to work with these rewarding animals again!
I'll start posting photos once my indoor cages are finished being built. I'm quarantining everyone in large reptariums, before putting them into fully planted, 8'X3'x6' cages. I'll be using Dr. Scott Stahl as my vet and everyone will be getting full exams and fecals, within a week of arrival. I've started several species of roach colonies in advance and create my own gut loads. I'm really excited about the future of the captive breeding of these beautiful animals.
