Lichen safe?

Just scrubbed what I believe are sycamore branches. Many have varying amounts of green lichen on them. Some came off as I scrubbed, but most remained. Should I scrape it off before putting in my enclosures? @jamest0o0 @Brodybreaux25

All are going to be bioactive. There’s some lichen on the oak branches currently in the enclosures, but it’s a gray color and not the fluffy green like is on the new branches. I love the natural look it all gives, but just want to make sure the green lichen is safe.

Nah I used it in all my enclosures, never had problems. A lot of critters like feeding on it too.

Idk about yours, but when I mist the enclosure, the lichen looks like it glows since the branch turns darker from the water and the lichen gets a brighter green. Really cool
