Left eye may be irratated!

My 4 month old veiled chameleon Victor has just finished shedding a couple days ago and it appears that his left eye is irritating him. He keeps it closed most of the day unless he is moving about. It doesn't look swollen and none of my books mention any thing about this. I'm not sure if there is still a piece of skin stuck on or in his eye or if it is something else. Please help

Can you post a picture? Has he been doing this since the shed finished?

He has been doing it since he shed which makes me think it might be dead skin
but I would think by now all of it would be off by now. I can post a picture tomarrow

Try flushing his eye with plain saline solution(not visine) the stuff people use for contacts.

I checked on him this morning and now it appears that it is now rather sunk in, I misted him and am now very worried
