LED UVB lights?

I use Arcadia uvb lights which are good for at least a year. Since uvb is so very important, I would be very cautious about LED uvb at this point in time from any company other than those with very solid reputations, such as Arcadia or ReptiSun. I would advise contacting https://www.lightyourreptiles.com/contact-us-at-light-your-reptiles/ who can help you with all of your lighting questions and needs. Not only is he a site sponsor, but he’s a nice guy and great vendor to buy from. His prices are about what you’ll find everywhere. I love how carefully he packages my bulbs so that they survive even the harshest shipping. Do let him know you are from the forum. 🙂

I just reached out to him and see what he says. Just had me curious since coming from the Saltwater aquarium world, everyone is transitioning to LED light fixtures for growing coral which also need UV light.

Here is the issue. UVB LEDS are extremely narrow in the nanometer wavelength output. The UVA/B that grows coral the best is not the same UVB that cures epoxy, and not the same that grows bones, and not the same that tans skin. As others stated, the repitsun and arcadia's have been on the market since around covid, and they state their uvb bands. So you could get one of those along with a UVI meter(very sensitive to the bone growth band), and you should be set.
