LED lights

sorry this is a dumb question but is it ok to have LED lights in the room with the chameleon? i’ve never had a chameleon before, but i’m going to get one soon. i’m wondering if the LED lights in my room will be safe with him?

No problemo, as long as they're not shining directly into your enclosure and messing with the cham's sleep cycle. I wouldn't use LED for basking—they don't produce enough heat to warm up a gnat, but for ambient lighting in the room, they're fine. Many of us use LED plant lights in our enclosures.
