Lazy adult Panther sleeping during day?

I am not even sure I have a problem, other then I have read they should not sleep during the day? Mr. T has not been a roamer, he just kind of likes to hang out, moves a bit, otherwise is not in a hurry to get anywhere?

Chameleon- Panther adult male
Handling- 2-4 minutes twice weekly
Feeding- 5-7 gut loaded crickets every other day 4-5 gutloaded superworms every other day.
Watering- mist cage about 4 times a day for 40 seconds (mansoon). For drinking I have a drip system that I drip for 40-60 minutes daily.
Supplements-calcium twice weekly, calcium with D3 once every two weeks.
Fecal description-Dark, not been tested for parasites
History- he has been eating and drinking ok, just notice he does not move around a lot, mostly likes to hang out. I have only had him for 3 weeks, I am not sure of prior owner’s care.

You should be dusting with plain calcium lightly every feeding, not twice a week. What about a multivitamin? Didn't see that listed. Use it once every couple of weeks. What do you gutload feeders with? Better gutloads are more beneficial than relying on dusting. Is the urate portion of the poop white or yellow-orange? From your earlier thread and the pic he may need to be more hydrated. Urate should be white.

Adults who are feeling settled and secure may not be that active. They find a favorite spot to spend most of the day after they have warmed up, eaten, gotten a drink, or patrolled their turf. Any idea how old this guy is?

I feed every other day, this is what I was told an adult panther required? So I give him crickets every other feeding. I dust the crickets each time with regular calcium. I did not know to dust the Superworms which he gets as well. I gut load with tropical fish food and cricket crack for the crickets. For the Super worms I rotate fresh veggis and fruit. Up until last week his urate were white, this week I have seen a couple yellow orange. This may be due to me switching to a drip system vice daily spray in his mouth with a sprayer.

I use a multivitamin dust when I dust with D3 about once monthly.

I talked to his original owner and he said the current behavior is normal since he has reached adult hood. I estimate his age at 1.5-2 years old.

thx Ted
