Laying problem

Hey guys, hope everyone had a good holiday. Happy new year!

Christmas morning I found Harley Quinn at the bottom of her enclosure. I knew it was time for her to lay so I set up a garbage can lay bin (there was a bucket for her in the enclosure but she completely by-passed this). She has been in the garbage can lay bin since Christmas morning up until today. She dug a little bit but when I checked up on her that night she had given up and was sleeping on her basking branch (it was midnight). I gave it a couple more days but she didn't go back at it. I gave her complete privacy, food and water. She ate, drank, but didn't dig. This morning moved her back into her enclosure and put a larger bucket inside. Just checked up on her and she completely by-passed it again and was down at the bottom. She's driving me crazy and I don't want it to be too late. Any solutions and advice is welcome!

Also not sure if this matters but according to her previous owners she has never laid before.

How far along is she?

To be completely honest. There is no set time for them to lay. There is a time in which it will be to late but it doesnt sound like it here.

Keep the sand moist in the cage and leave here be. As long as you have provided her good care and she has a suitable lay bin. She will lay when she is ready. Shes exploring her options right now. Visit the cage only when needed :)

Forgot to update everyone. Harley Quinn laid 23 eggs on January 6, 2014. They are likely fertile since she successfully mated with Razu a couple of times on November 29, 2013.
