Laying eggs

My chameleon has been trying to lay her eggs but the problem is, is she will lay one egg then bury it, then a week later lay another one and bury it. Not sure what to do or think. Any suggestions?

thats not how females should lay their eggs.

what lay bin does she have?

I have tried different containers for her and the only one she will dig in is a big red bowl that I put in her cage

I would say 8 inches, I tried a big tote with dirt and sand but she would not dig, all she did was sit there

when did you try that?
females need at least 12 inches to dig into.

I tried that about 4 days ago and after I put her back in her cage with the big bowl she started digging and laid one egg last night and I can see more, she is very lumpy

wel put the big tote back in.
she may not have had to lay when it was there before, but she clearly does now.

leave the deepest tub in thre, and then leave her alone.

it can take days for females to dig and lay their eggs.

if she catches you watchin gher, she will stop, and could become egg bound.
