laying eggs?

okay so 1: when will she be ready? how can i tell?

2: i can only use an external laying bin... when should i put her in, when do i take her out?

3: food while in there?

any other tips?

the laying bin is a white bucket full with moist substrate easy to dig with one finger and doesn't collapse

oh and she's 5 months old. turns 6 mo in 28th of this month

please help me out i dont wan't her to die eggbound or w/e
