Laying Eggs

I just recently got a veiled chameleon and she was having a problem with eating and drinking with her former owners. But when she came home with me she started eating and drinking and is very very active. Ive never have a girl chameleon and was worried about her laying eggs and i didnt want her to backed up with eggs. My question is how often do they lay there eggs? or is there a certain point where the females stop laying eggs? Like a metapause situation.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your female veiled. I recommend keeping a laying bin in the enclosure at all times after she reachs the age of 4 to 5 months. They can and often do lay eggs without a male even being around. I have some blogs attached below that you might find useful
