She just played eggs all over the cage kinda like she was pooping.. it was very odd. She has sand and a bunch of it. Any one else experienced this before?

Is the sand moist enough for her dig a good hole in.? How deep is the sand.? Have you tried starting a test hole for her or taking her out of the cage all together and just in her laying bin.? Are you watching or is there any other things that might be stressing her out.?

And welcome to Chameleon Forums. :D

Get a laying bin in there asap if you haven't done so. A flower pot with playsand or potting soil. She needs to dig. You don't want her getting egg bound and dying.

Hello & welcome, let's see if we can help. What kind of cham do you have? Has she been bred? How many eggs has she dropped so far? With that info, I can at least try to guide you in the right direction.

She is about year or so old. It was a while back When she had her first clutch. I think she is getting close to time for the second. She is a veiled. I had sand she was digging. She layed about 10 in the sand the rest where just all over the place. Like she was pooping. It was rite after i put her in t
he living room in her new cage. I will post some pix soon. I'm out of town rite now and no no computer.

She may be upset by you moving her cage. If she has a laying bin with sand and knows what it is for then I am not sure what else you can do unless you want to put her in a large trash can. Since she hasn't been bred I would just toss the eggs out.

when they have infertile eggs they don't care as much about what they do with the eggs. She may have decided that since she already buried some she did her thing. Keep the very damp bin in her cage and watch her like a hawk. If she stops dropping eggs and you can still feel some in her belly you will have to take her to the vet. Ditto on changing her cage too soon.
