Hello,
My dad and I are new to this and this is our first Panther Chameleon. Zeke is 4-5 months old and since we have had him has already shed 3 times. He is in a screened cage 4ft talk and 2ft wide. He has an automated misting system that sprays 4 times a day for about 15 seconds. We feed him mostly crickets and super worms.
This past week he has been extremely lethargic. He is not moving well he is staying in once place a lot and he is really only feeding when crickets and superworms come to him. He is very shakey, and when resting he is usually on his belly with his arms and feet kind of hanging off the sides.
I also feel as if he is not getting enough water, but I read somewhere that if his poop has a white cap on the end it means he is hydrated, and his poop has white cap on the end.
If anyone has any suggestions or if you can let me know if this is normal behavior during or after shedding that would be great.
Thanks!
GW
