I hoped it would help new owners, when you see them trying to pass one of these, best to leave them completely alone.
It does make them nervous being watched, and they may want to rush, which you don't want them to do.
You can tell, because you can see them flexing the vent mussel to squeeze
it out.
I usually leave the room and let them take all the time they want.
If you rush them, you may end up having to pull the remaining piece out
of his butt yourself!!
This is one more reason why proper hydration is so important.
It keeps everything clean and lubricated so they can pass these smoothly
and all in one piece
When I mist them with warm water, I try to give their vents a good long shower
