Large Pygmy Enclosure

Hi folks, some great threads on here with loads of helpful info on setting up pygmy cham enclosures and keeping them going with the lil clean up crews etc.. all good stuff, so thanks, as I am planning on using a large, 65gal aquarium with vented top to set up a live planted pygmy setup later this summer.

I've read lots on the substrate ie using base layer of hydroton balls etc.. for drainage etc.. and that all sounds great. i have read up on what plants people seem to look at and have noted down the latin names for a few of them. Also going to have a uvb2.0 strip in there and eventually a rain maker/mister (can anyone recommend makes of these and how often and for how long you have them on for each day? Thanks!).

We were thinking of housing brevs and having 1.3 or 1.4.. just wondered if anyone else has or knows of someone who has had such a large setup, as I read a lot of 10/20gal setups etc.. but just thought it'd be interesting to get some chat going on about larger setups??

Cheers folks, and once the project starts, i'll be sure to whack photos up! :)

Regards
Jonathan

i know alot of the people on here that use a misting system go for mistking, and stay far away from habba mist.

I know Heika has a pretty big colony (multiple males, females and babies all together) in a 90 or 100 gallon aquarium.
Last time a talked to her she had at least 17 in there.

I haven't been able to find them over here, but will keep looking, thanks! Unless you mean they ship to UK.. not sure if the postage would make it not worth while if there are decent makes over here, but will look into that also.
Any UK forum users who have one by any chance?

Cheers Brad, sounds like my plan is definately do-able then and i'm not biting off more than I can chew :)
