ladybugs?

has anyone ever tried feeding their baby chams ladybugs? I know they are too small for adults or they would have to eat a lot of them.. but are they harmful to them in any way? because I have a lot of ladybugs in the wash by my house and decided to catch a lot of them to start a colony.. what are your opinions on this?

WOW thanks for the replies... I never knew they were so toxic.. I will let them all free and just start my mantis colony on fruit flies, along with my horn worm colony once they hatch as well.
