Kudos to them for this statement in their ad...

More pictures are available if you are serious.

I am offering her up for a "rehoming fee" of 150.00, a steal for such a perfect example of the species. If I'm comfortable that you can properly care for this species I will make a really good deal for her.
Now, please--please-- do NOT contact me if you are not familiar with this species or the care that they require. Don't ask me if its like an iguana, don't ask me if your kids can play with it, don't ask me if its tame. The answer is no, no, and NO. These are animals for serious keepers that require serious respect and serious commitment in not only space, but time and resources as well. This animal lives in a 10x5x9 foot tall custom built enclosure and that is SMALL. I will NOT send her to someone trying to keep it in an aquarium, I will NOT send it to a kid looking to keep it in thier bedroom next to the fish tank and I will NOT send it to someone looking to shock people with a big lizard. Large lizards do not do well with stupid people, they will put your butt in the emergency room. I am a passionate keeper of these animals and I won't place one that I've invested so much time in into a home where it will be mistreated. I care very much for these animals, and for this hobby in general, and I intend to do everything within my power to preserve both. If you would like this animal to be yours I'm going to need to feel comfortable in your abilities to safely and responsibly care for it. This is an incredibly rewarding species to keep, but they do take work. Be prepared for that.

This is exactly a good and passionate breeder.

What i heard before, and i think it is true, is that a real breeder chooses their customers, not the opposite. They make their new customers go through an interview and if they feel their animals won't be into good hands, they cancel the deal!

And i really like this thinking! :)

As someone who has raised one (and currently has a VERY LARGE one...), I can appreciate this to the nth degree. This is awesome. Thanks for sharing this.
