Kiwi is acting funny :(

hey everyone, I've been having a few issues with my 3-4 month old veiled. I feel like I may have put him in a enclosure that's too big and that might be the issue. However, he knows his way around the place and sits in about 3 different spots and sleeps in a whole different area of the enclosure, so I don't feel as though he's lost at all and his coloring seems to be kinda at ease and to me he doesn't look stressed and roams around the place.

The whole thing started when I first got him. He wouldn't eat for a few days or even drink for a couple. I literally had to kill his crickets and place them on a leaf he sits by when he's sun bathing. He ate them then but only about 4-6 at a time. Then when he started refusing the dead ones, I tried live ones. He gobbled those up.. no problem. He has been drinking about 2 of the 4 times I mist in his cage. So, I was thinking awesome.. he's settled in, yay!

The last 4-5 days however he's been totally different. He is just acting sick imo. He wont eat, the same 2 sm crickets have just been chilling out untouched. (I have some food in there for them to eat since Kiwi isn't touching them) He still drinks water every day though and doesnt look dehydrated. His eyes are normal and not sunken in, his color is good too. Bright green and darker green when he's in the heat light. I have noticed he'll sunbath with his eyes closed sometimes too. I moved his top leaf by the Uv light a little bit away. I dont' have a recent pic of that.. so it looks too close in the pic i provided.

His set up
1. repti 5.0 tube uv light. I think a 60 or 75 watt heat light from the pet store.
2. Temps around the cage range from 75-83 and about 85-90 under the heat lamp, which is where he mostly chills. The humidity spikes up to about 50-60 after I mist but is maintaing around 35-40. At night the temps go to about 60 degrees.
3. I mist 4-5 times a day for about 4-5 mins at a time. He always hides when I do that, haha. Hates water.
4. His cage is mesh, and I did make the mistake of getting the larger one because it was on sale for $45
5. I did have the coconut substrate in there at first, but I read on here that a substrate wasn't a good idea. So I cleaned his cage and got ride of it.
6. His poo is,brown-black in color with a white tip at the end.
7. He has a lot of hiding spaces and i've even added an umbrella plant to his cage, using rocks instead of soil.
8. He eats gutloaded crickets, and I was dusting them 3 times a week but since he isn't eating... idk.

My cat has been super interesting in his cage. He cant get to him because I have Kiwi mounted from the ceiling but idk if that's freaking him out. He also looks as though he might shed soon. His nose looks a little white. I added some pics. Thanks for reading. And please post any advice or if Im doing something wrong. I just want him to be ok, bc I thought I was doing everything right :(

In my opinion, if this behavior is not from being actually sick, your veiled cham still recognizes you as a predator and does not feel comfortable eating in front of you. If you leave only 2 crickets a time in the huge cage, it is highly possible that he might not be able to find them. One of my chams still refuses to eat in front of me (got him a while ago). So, what I do is that I put about 15 crickets in his cage in the morning to give him more chance to find prey items, and leave him alone as much as possible. So he can eat more that way. Or you can try cup feeding (which my cham refuses to eat out of). :)
