Kiss my grits OPEC

Built this back in Feb, and with the climbing gas prices (30 cent a gal in a week) I'm not sorry I did.

It will do 30 MPH for 30 miles on a single charge. If I add more battery it can go as fast as 50. The motor can handle 110 volts DC with no problems. I'm running a 48 volt 20 amp LiFePO4 (next gen lithium).

Total build cost including brake/seat/tire upgrades 3000 USD. This includes about a grand in mistakes. Total estimated cost of gas saved over 3 months, about 420 bucks. The battery is good for 3000+ charges with limited reduction in distance achievable after 2000 charges. This equates to about 4 yrs of use. The bike will more than pay for itself in that time.

Rain sucks though!
