Kinyongia multiturberculatum enclosure size

What is the best size for a cage for Kinyongia multiturberculatum? Can males be kept in smaller cages than breeding females?

I keep my girls in 18x18x36. My male shares a free range with my male Jackson's. They are really active so even though they are small I think larger is better. I wouldn't put my male in anything smaller than 18x18x36 and he would probably prefer a 2'x2'x4' if he were caged.
