I have been on this site numerous times for research purposes but never had the chance to register and say Hi to you all (and thank you's too...you guys are SO knowledgeable about my obsession!)
I have been a Chameleon "Mom" for a number of years and to be honest, the little sweethearts have saved my life! I was involved in a car accident in 2005 and had been disabled and homebound for a number of years during recovery. At a time when I could have become a painkiller pill popper I instead knew I had to find a hobby - one that would require time, love and dedication. Guess what I turned to?
I am currently Chameleon Mom to 2 veiled's: my absolute pride and joy is Chamo, my 3.5 year old who I've had since he was 8 months; and more recently Isis, who is 9 months now but who came to me at 11 weeks. I love them SO much, it borders on obsession, seriously!! These two guys are my current 'pet loves' and come after having raised (and lost!) veiled cham "Karma" and panther "Coco".
I could go on and on but I won't bore you with the details on an introduction post - I'm sure I'll have ample opportunity to share my experiences with my cham's to you all in the future.
Here are a few pictures of my guys!
