Kind of sort of back again?

Well, I guess I will never fully be out of the chameleon keeping hobby as I've recently decided to get back into reptiles after nearly 3 years of not really keeping many animals since moving to Minnesota. I am curious to see if anyone that I used to talk to on here is still around and see what has changed. I can for sure say that the forums definitely look different!

Hi, I am still here! Or back here would be more accurate! I remembered you leaving South Dakota, but not where you went. I am told it is much the same, but I still get lost and can't find what I want all time! It is slowly getting better. As young as you are, you will have it sorted out in no time flat! Welcome back

Oh my gosh it's so nice to still see you on here Laurie!! How have you been? I'm enjoying Minnesota life, but looking into moving somewhere more mountainous in the near future! I am struggling to figure out where to find older postings to try to reconnect with members. I'm sure it's just going to be another fun learning curve! :)

Welcome back to the Chameleon Forums. It has been a while since we have seen you here. Great news that you have returned. The are some things that have changed and some things that have not changed about the Chameleons Forums. One big change is there are new quotas from Madagascar. Species such as Calumma parsonii parsonii have their own quota now. More keepers are keeping that species (Parsonii) now days (Laurie has a Parsonii now) and is a big change about the hobby. Anyways welcome back to the Chameleon Forums Zach.

Ah! It's refreshing to see you on here Jeremy! I was trying to find you and see how you've been! Parsonii are such a wonderful species, maybe sometime in the near future I will have my hand at having a nice parsonii. It's so amazing to see the amazing keepers still around these forums.

It is great to hear from you. It sounds as though you have traveled quite a bit since you were on the Chameleon Forums last. There are plenty of new things going on to keep your attention.

Those are absolutely stunning chameleons! I still love the smaller species but I'll always be drawn towards calumma. I have definitely been traveling, I'm currently in Portland and headed to Seattle to hopefully find a new home! If you or anyone has any suggestions on local shops to visit I love suggestions.

Good luck locating a new home in Seattle. I am not acquainted with the Portland or Seattle reptile shop scene. However the Madagascar new quota Calumma and Furcifer species are much more affordable (/3) than they were when the new quotas were made (2014). Low price does not mean a healthy chameleon however best of luck looking for some new Madagascar quota species chameleons.
