Kham doesn't like female dubia?

So some time back I stopped buying crickets because I hate them and I switched to dubias as a staple. Luckily Kham is large enough to eat adult dubia so that's what I feed him.
For some reason though he doesn't seem to like the female dubia. If I put some in his dish he'll wait a couple days to eat it I guess out of hunger. But when I feed him adult males he eats them the moment I put them in. He'll eat two, three, etc., but he doesn't eat the females until he is very hungry.

Is this weird?
Maybe female dubia are still a bit too chunky for him?

LOL maybe he does like the wings. I think I would too... if I were a cham.
