Kevin's shedding

Just a few questions........
How long does a shed take? Kevin is still flakey like a real dry skin (big bits came off first day) so 4 days later he seems to still be shedding

Should the shed have come off in one or is it normal for Kevin to have rubbed the large flakes off on branches in little bits?

Can I help him in any way other than mist to keep humidity up?

Sometimes small parts of the shed can take a while to come off completely.

You can try giving him a 'shower'. Put him on a plant in the tub and aim the spray off the wall so it mists onto him. Make sure the water is warm.

This should help if he's got some stubborn shed left on him.

I've read about shed-aid sprays but I have no clue if they actually work or not.

You could try a couple of extra misting. But it is not anything to worry about. He will take care of the shed.

Have used shed aid spray on my snake and it works really well, maybe will shower him then give it a few days and see what happens

Is Kevin a Cham or a snake??? My Panther just shed and it was done in one day the next day he had what looked like a cap on his head and I just grabbed it off with one finger.. I did mist from the top of the enclosure for about one minute them that was it for the day.. Pulling shed off a animal is never recommended though, this shed was just sitting there.. Also the day before there were no signs of him getting ready to shed like snakes have cloudy eyes..

Kevin is my veiled and am new to the cham world, familiar with snake sheds and their tendencies as we also have a snake !!!!!
Just wondered how long it normally takes for a cham to shed he started on sunday evening and by monday he looked like a snowman but he still has a powdery looking side and his arms and legs look a little scaly too, he rubbed all over and got the large parts off but he looks a dull green and am desperate to see his new colours
