Kenyan Pygmy Chameleon

Hello everyone.
I'm new to this forum, not new to reptiles, however I am new to Kenyan Pygmy Chams.
I've owned several other reptiles, but I cannot find much care on kenyan pygmy chams. I have owned veileds and from what ive heard it is a bit different care?
Is there any information anyone could give me on the care of these guys? I am assuming they can only eat pinhead sized crickets. Would mealworms be too big for them? And how big do they get?
Also how many can you house together, and what genders?
Thanks

I dont know about that specific type of pygmy, but most pygmy's can be housed in glass cages that have special vents for air flow. They can be housed together as 0.X or 1.X and usually do well with more thanone female if there is a male. They could eat extremely small superworms, pinheads or small crickets, fruit flies, and other small bugs like sow bugs.

A good site to checkout for general pygmy care is:

and the care sheet on www.flchams.com

I keep mine in a a well ventilated terrarium with a 125w solar glo(the female sits right beneathe it when ever its on) and flouressentlight.
they get a minnimum of one minnute rain two times a day

thank you.. that was helpful. i couldnt get the last link to work

just wondering how many you are able to keep together. Like I know for most reptiles you shouldnt keep males together, is it a problem with these guys is males are kept together? and if i put females in with males, are they going to breed too young? and what about different ones together... meaning a bearded cham with a kenyan cham... will there be a problem?
thanks, i know ive got quite a few questions lol

Keep the same kind together, one male to any number of females. Rule of thumb is a pair to a ten gallon tank, and ever extra Pygmy after that you need another ten gallons. So 2 pygs to 10 gallons, 3 pygs to 20 gallons, 4 pygs to 30 gallons and so on. Try to only put adults together so that you know the breeding is okay, but I've never really heard of that happening.

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me. The breeder I got him from at the expo said I could keep all species of pygmy together. I just wanted to check that out
