Kego is a Japanese term for young silkworms. I always wanted to take better photos these awesome creatures, but it has been cold here lately to hatch some. Last week, I set up an aquarium with a heat pad to incubate the silkworms. This allowed me to hatch 1+ year old silkworm eggs stored in our refrigerator. I was amazed that they actually hatched. I'm sure it was a very long winter for them. They are now growing nicely.
These photographs are from silkworm eggs I ordered last week that started hatching today.
Hope you like it. Enjoy.
