Keeping other reptiles with Chameleons

Hi everyone I'm Sian.

I have a baby male Veiled called Buddha. He's about 3-4 mths old and lives in a 1 meter tall by 1.5 meter wide by 80cm deep glass and mesh house with lots and lots of real and fake plants and vines.

I'm not new to the reptile keeping world and used to manage a pet shop specialising in reptiles.

My question is... does anybody here keep any other reptiles etc in the same enclosure as their chameleon and what if anything could be considered a 'safe' housemate for my little Bud.

Thanks in advance :)

I only ask as I already have a lovely viv setup with Rough Green snakes, Green anoles and Long-tailed lizards which has been running for close to 5yrs now. I also had Cuban tree frogs in there for a little while until they got a bit too big.

Maybe I'll wait until Bud grows a bit and gets his next home which will be much taller :)

Thanks for the replies.

I've read that blog previous to joining here and it was very helpful.

I am just a reptile fanatic and love keeping different species. I've spent literally years thinking about keeping a chameleon and have cared for many at the shop I worked in.

I know I've read somewhere that some people have kept them with other reps but for the life of me I can't remember where.

I hope I've done enough research and got enough relevant experience to care for Bud properly. I have the lighting and temps, humidity, feeding and supplements spot on. Got a great vet on standby and I have a happy healthy little chap sleeping on a vine in front of me. Anything I can do to make him happier or healthier will be done like it is for all our pets.

I just wanted to double check with more experienced keepers first before considering adding anything.
