I keep my crickets in a small old fridge and have the temp set for 70 degrees. Its the warmest I can set it. Is this a bad idea? Thank you for your responses.

sounds appetizing lol , I must ask why do you keep your crickets in a 70f fridge. Any advantages or that is just where food goes? Also where do you live geographically.
Are they still alive? I'd think they wouldn't last very long in temps like that. Crickets generally like it warmer.
Is there any ventilation in a fridge? lol Can they breathe?
Well since the summer is over my crickets temps are 65-70 depending on the day. They seem to be lasting at least 2x longer than at 80. During the summer the 3/4" only last a few weeks before the die off. Im almost at the end of month 2 and they are still going strong. As others would say gut load is going to be slow, and breeding impossible. I wouldnt recommend it for a fresh from the farm batch.
