Juvenile Panther Basking Temp.

Im bringing home a couple month old panther today, what should the basking temp be? 85 or 88? Thank you!

I would say 85 max. What size cage are you starting out with?

Yes I agree I would have it around 82 then bump it up abit when he's 6 months old and do you have a decent sized viv to allow a lower ambient temp?

Yep, if it's any higher than that you can either burn them or dehydrate them. My baby's breeder said when they are 3 months a 25W bulb is best, then bump it up at 4months
