Just wondering...

Is Ebenezer of normal size for a 9 month panther? He's ~5 inches STV.. I went to this exotic pet store a couple cities away, and they had a ambilobe there that was humongous compared to Ebenezer! He almost looked like an adult, I asked the guy how old, and he said 8-9 months maybe. I feed him 8-10 crickets a day.

Ebenezer looks very healthy and since size depends alot on feeding in the first year, it's hard to say if the cham in the pet store was just overfed or the guy was guessing at his age. Your cham is hunched up so if he stretched out he would probably be more like six inches. Can you measure his tail? Usually the tail and body are about the same length. Rocko is a year old and 16" stl. His tail is half that 8".

He sounds about the right size for his age and he looks healthy.

My female is that size at 10 months, and my male was only an inch bigger at best at his age.
Each cham is different. Some will grow larger.

His tail is a little shorter than his body, since one of his siblings nipped him when he was younger D:

But thanks guys, glad to hear he's a normal length!

Bring him over some night and we will compare him to his father and brothers. The brothers I have are from the retained clutch and one is about 6 weeks younger then Eb and another is 10+ weeks younger-and the older one I have is 3 times the size of the younger one.

Alrighty :) Whenever you're available, really. Does he sound good to you from my description and picture?

Ghettomike Haha, me too. Thanks :D

To me he is about 6" SNV and looks perfectly sized for his age. Did he lose most of his orange coloring or does he only show it when fired up?

Oh definitely shows his oranges like crazy! Right there he was in the middle of basking when I got him out, so he was a bunch of boring colors. He has so much around his mouth, and when he's out of his cage climbing the blinds or something, he gets A LOT on his tail, like almost his whole tail is orange.
