Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.

I've joined because I've always had an interest in Chameleons (and all kinds of other reptiles). Since my kids are getting older and more independent. I've been thinking of getting back into owning a reptile. This would be more of a hobby for dad than a family pet for the kids.

I've been researching a lot of species offered in the pet trade and the Veiled Chameleon is at the top of my list. I've been reading books on the subject and educating myself as much as I can from other CF members. That way I can make sure the Veiled is the right reptile for me.

Welcome to the forums. Veileds are awesome chameleons and show the best personalities. They are one of my favorite if not my favorite species. I have a blog for new keepers attached below and it has links to pictures for what all you will need and where you can buy each item. Most supplies that you need for a chameleon you can't find in your local pet store and will need to order online. Let me know if you have any questions.
