Today is a great day i received my new 5.5 month old blue bared Ambilobe Panther. He is awesome. After I opened his container he climbed right out and was very active. I placed in his new home and he went right for his basking light. My automatic mister came on he started to drink instantly. I decided to feed him some crickets after he got use to his surroundings. He did not waste any time getting to the crickets and devouring each one of them. I got him from sin city chameleons. They were great and came through with everything that we had talked about. The sire of this chameleon is Fancy Pants who was sired by Zeppo from Cham Company. This little guy is showing great colors already and is everything that i hoped for. I have been wanting a panther chameleon for about twelve years and feel that I now have enough knowledge, time, and money to devote to keeping one healthy.

Nice looking little man there. It may just be the piture, but does his eye look weird to anyone else?

Its just the camera i think. Where did you find that long leafed ficus. Ive been looking all over for one this year and had no luck.

He looks great and I too like the ficus. Im guessing his eye is just at a weird angle but more pictures never hurt anyone :)

It is a banana leaf ficus i got a local nursery for $19. If he has something wrong with his eye what should I be looking for? I will take some more pics and post them of his eye. He seems to be fine though.

its also known as ficus alli, it doesnt lose its leaves like benjimina and grows sturdier branches, so its great for larger chams like mellers, parsons, oustalets, etc.

Oh by the way you got a good looking cham:)

I had 2 in my parsons enclosure they both lost their leaves and had little twigs for branches.

My ficus is losing leaves but there is a bunch of new growth. i have had it for over a month in the enclosure. It does seem to have smaller branches and I do worry about there strength when he gets bigger.
