Just New Owner Questions...

ok so i know its not an exact science but i was curious about their colors. i have a mix panther and when hes sleeping hes a "white=ish" color with little spots of his color (reds, teals, greens)
when hes out sunbathing hes a dark color but hes got his white stripes down the side
when i open his enclosure to hold him he gets dark black stripes, turns white and teal (actually looks awesome when hes like this...even though hes probably pissed off)
and when i have him out n about crawlin on me he turns brown and then the normal colorful fella he should be
wondrin if this is all normal
also...he gets on my fingers and does what myself and my husband call... " Praisin Jesus" move up on his hind legs reaching for nothing its funny but is it normal...its like he wants my ceiling fan
just a new owner with a new bebe and info helps!

dnt worry about any of that it is ALL normal....and the praising Jesus pose or boxing pose is beacuse its a sign of warning and aggresion letting u knw he is getting mad basically that is there normal signs before the gapping and hissing .... thats why chams are so exotic and cool , i hope i helped you
