What the heck! I had this setup for a month 1/2 before i got him with temps around 89 and humidity at 25%. Now that i have him in his new cage the temps are 96 and humidity 20% Is this okay? I'm going down to a lower wattage basking bulb. Ill check in in a bit, photos to come.

96 is way to high need to be lower i use a 60 wat and it keeps the basking spot around 80 or so

Your humidity should be higher than that. More mistings or an extra plant will help. Shoot for 40-50%

I use 60w bulbs to get about 85 or so 6" from the bulb.

I grabbed a bulb from the bathroom  I guess I just have to leave the seat up. Hes drinking and eating and temp down to 86 He seems quite happy with his new place. Humidity still down. I have the dripper going for now kicked on the humidifier and sprayed and its still at 23%

add loads of live plants all close together,,,, that should boost it to like 40 plus daily watering should peak at 50% if not..idk what to tell you.

is he from screameleons?

Yeah, he's from screameleons. He's been very aware and lively all day! I watered a total or 5 or 6 times today and still no rise. There is a large umbrella in the center it takes up 3/4 of his cage. For a little baby though his cage size cant fit too many more plants. What's a good plant that will thrive without direct light, because anything I put in there is going to be blocked by the umbrella.

Also he's spent most of his day directly under his uvb. He doesn't seem to recognize the basking area as being any warmer. He seems comfortable though because he's not at the highest possible point. Anyways if this keeps up and he spends a majority of his day under the uvb, should I still use d3 every other day or maybe cut down to maybe 3 or 4x a week. I have a reptisun 5.0 18" tube and use sticky tounge minerall indoor d3. He climbs within 4-6" of the uvb so far.

D3 is a safe guard supplement for chameleon that spend majority of its life indoor.
Unless you're keeping him outside most of the time, I say go ahead and use D3 in your supplement.
idk though, D3 every other day seems a bit too much imho.
I supplement D3 for babies twice a week and
for adult once a week.
But, the amount of the dusting is very minimal (just barely enough to be there, but not enough to coat the cricket that it change its color).
Even then some people might think I am supplementing too much.
