just a strange question

This may sound a little odd to some of you but is it possible for a male veiled to be born without tarsal spurs. I just got my new chameleon about a week ago I was thinking it was a he because he has what I think is a tall casque,puffs up his throat and can really flare colour when he wants to. The only thing is no spurs! I wanted a male because I am worried about the egg binding problem and there are no hero vets for miles(literally). So can they be born without spurs like some people are born without limbs. Thanks for any responses. :

Females also puff out their throats and flare their colors when upset. We don't know what you mean by a "tall" casque. They vary a lot. How old is this cham? I suppose it's possible that spurs are so small as not to be noticed, but its unlikely. Send us a pic of your cham so we can take a look.
