Just a silly question ?????

My 4 month old veiled is blooming at the moment but I wondered if eating too much kale could be a problem ?

He eats locust about 6-8 a day as he wont touch crickets but he has suddenly decided he really enjoys kale and lots of it !!!!

Wondered if too much could cause loose stool (as in humans) or deficiency in any way ?

It can bind to the calcium and not let him absorb it properly after a while. Try other greens like collards, dandelions, endive, escarole, etc. as well.

You can also try carrots slivers or pieces of strawberry or other fruit.

Both my chams love thin slices of yellow sqash as well. Seems to keep my feeders very juicy as well. Both crickets and roaches destroy a pile of sqaush in no time.

So lucky. My veiled wont touch any fruit or veg apart from his lovely umbrella plant!
