Okay, so before I order all my new things for my new veiled chameleon, I want to make sure I’m buying the right things before I send the order off. She’s six months old, and I have had her for a week. She’s doing well and is now allowing me to hold her for a bit and let me hand feed her.
I’m buying a DIYcage with 2’x2’x4’ dimensions. But I need ideas for good plants. I was thinking pothos, ficus, or a hibiscus. I know they are okay to put in the cage but I didn’t know which was the best. I was thinking off putting them on the bottom of the cage and someone said putting reptile carpet over them to prevent them from eating the soil.? I was also wondering if I cleaned some sticks from outside really really well would they be safe to put in the new cage with her for her to climb on.?
I also need a good place to order the supplements. I have some now, but the pet store that is closest to me carries very little of it and is often out. I heard that if you fed them Repashy Cal Plus and gut load the crickets with bug burger that was all they need. Is that true.? My pet stores also only sell crickets for live feeders, and I was looking at ordering two more to give her more of a variety. I was wondering what kind of feeders are easy to keep and not roaches, as my mom has band them from the house.
