Just a bit worried, maybe a little information?

So yesterday and today Po has been a little strange. She didn't eat much and has been clawing her way to the heat emitter. It would seem that she's cold because she has stayed relatively dark and has been getting noticeably close to the heat emitter on the top of the cage. Today she's only eaten one superworm. She's been defecating normally with her urate being white with just a slight tint of barely yellow. The temperature in her enclosure hasn't changed and neither has her lighting schedule. I did however get a new mister that goes off every hour, I did change it to every 3 hours however. I;m wondering if my heat emitter is not as powerful as it once was? even though it's not even a month old. I had been dusting her small superworms with calcium with D3 everyday, because that's what the lady at the reptile store told me to do. I also picked up some multivitamin powder and dusted the worms with that a few times a week.. until I found out you're only supposed to use multivitamin twice a month.

I would use crickets as a staple however I'm home for the holidays and the nearest place I could get them is an hour an a half away(teeny weeny towns suck) I came here with I'm guessing 60 plus teeny crickets... but half escaped and the rest lasted only a few days. So Po has been receiving what I have left for her which is smaller superworms, waxworms and once a week a few teeny meal worms.

Please do tell me what your thoughts on Po's behavior is.
Thanks guys!

hmmmm well you dust the feeders with just calcium every day , calcium with d3 every two weeks and multivitamins every two weeks as well. for my cham butterworms and phoenix worms i dont dust because they are higher in nutritional value and meal worms i use as treats. Also how cold does it get in ur set up chams are supposed to have a decrease of temp at night i do mine around low 70s

I had a thermometer in there and it got wet and fell off the side of the cage... then I lost it. Po has a wide range of temperatures, I do know that though. I'm gonna guess that the warmest place in the cage would be maybe in the low 90's and the coolest would be in the low 70's. She's got places to hang out in every different temp. As we speak though she is right underneath the heat emitter... which is abnormal. The further away I move the emitter the closer she tries to get to it. I think tomorrow my sister and I will clean out the cage and rearrange everything.

maybe a pic sometime of the set up would be cool so people can see whats up with the set up and what not

but yeah definitely change up the calcium stuff i told you your cham definitely shouldnt have calcium with d3 everyday it will lead to major problems better to fix that now

Oh ofcourse, I stopped feeding her the calcium with D3 once I was told it was harmful on a daily basis. I don't have calcium by itself yet though. I wont be out of this town until the 3rd. Do you think she'll do fine without any supplements until then or should I make a trip an go get it in the next few days?

She should be good for the week, is there a local hardware store in your teeny weenie town if so maybe pic up a small thermometer so you can at least have a better idea on regulating her temp. Also if you have a small pharmacy in your town they may have phosphorous free calcium powder could be worth checking out
