Jungle Dawn LED Spotlight

This is a picture I took, with my camera lying flat on the bottom of the enclosure ( XL screen cage). Tell me this doesn't look like the sun breaking through a thick canopy?! This light has yet to fail me! I even find my panther basking in it frequently. He loves it as much as I do. Anyways, just thought this was a cool shot!

I love this light. I have it in the greenhouse since I have to cover it with shatex for temp reasons. Great light!!!

??? Meaning the bulb gives off heat? Just wanted some clarification because at some point I am planning to get one, but still gathering info.

No, what I meant was that it gives off a tremendous amount of light. My temps get really high here and I am unable to leave my greenhouse as is. I have to do a double layer of shatex. Therefore, I cut a lot of the natural light down. Since I have some plants that require high light inside, I have placed on of these bulbs over those areas in the greenhouse. It has worked perfectly.

It does put off some heat though. It is cooled internally via fan. But I don't find that it puts off more heat than a double T5 fixture.

That makes more sense to me now ;). Thanks for the clarification! It's back up on the must have list :D.

No, but I need too! I have some plants that require high light that are doing great underneath this bulb.
Try it! Just watch the vines. I'm sure you know how invasive they can be. For some reason my flowers never blossomed though. I think I just got a plant with a bad root system. But they definitely do well!

Yes they give off a little heat. I honestly think they would make a perfect 2-in1 basking/plant light for some Montane species!
