Jumping in sleep

My chameleon decided to jump in his sleep when I was trying to fix his awkward poisons and fell around 2 feet onto a a vine and wooden stick, he was very shocked and seemed to be confused, holding him he was stiff and he didn't feel right, i don't know if he is okay considering he made a couple amid word breaths, what should I do I am dreaming out

I have never heard of that before, maybe it's possible that you startled him and he jumped/fell..? Do you mean awkward position? Sometimes my panther will sleep in weird positions but I definitely don't disturb him. Maybe try to get a picture if he does it again.
